Captured moments... shots of light,
Coastal beauty... mountain heights,
Vibrant colours... sunset and rise,
Majestic views...  engage my eyes.

After a major wakeup call late in life, my thinking became much better; my sleep was more peaceful; and my understanding increased.  I started to speak and act in a way, which was more beneficial to others and so I became more of a servant to those who were struggling... not thinking of myself as the one who should be served.

What does this have to do with photography, well nothing really, except that I probably would not be here telling you this today if that change in my life had not occurred.  I would not have written the books I have;  composed some songs; and taken thousands of photos, some of which are displayed on this website… not that I think this is a meritorious achievement deserving of any accolades, but just saying as a help to those who might be deceived into thinking, especially within an older age group, that there is nothing worthwhile left to do in life.  At the time of writing this Bio, I am 68 and confidently planning my next twenty years, just to begin with, so regardless of what stage of life you are in, be encouraged.

As a photographer… amateur status sits OK with me.  My photography equipment is not excessive, but sufficient for my own needs.  I mainly use a Sony a7 camera with Sony wide angle lens and various filters for long exposure technique and suppression of glaring light.

I hope that you enjoy this “JaKeM Photography” site, which I built in conjunction with the powerful, ingenious, and easy-to-use WIX suite of Apps.  Please feel free to contact me on anything you may like to discuss.

Photos displayed  within "JaKeM Photography" website pages, have been processed in Adobe Lightroom Classic and saved in dimensionless ratios of either 16 : 9 widescreen ;  297 : 210  (Metric A4)  or  as stated otherwise.
