Living In Truth - Healing Part A

Hello again... this is James.

Welcome to my second Blog post - PART A.

Recently... actually three weeks after publishing my first Blog post, I inadvertently allowed sickness to attack my physical body. This may sound strange to you, that in some way, I allowed it to happen, but we are able to restrict sickness in our lives on Earth, just as we are able to increase sickness depending on how effectively we attend to our physical needs. I am certainly not suggesting that more traditional medical attention be ignored. During my recent bout of sickness, my soul also came under heavy pressure to just give up. Nevertheless, even though late in posting, my choice was not to be completely cast down.

The truth is, that within my age bracket and current fitness levels, there is not really a safe margin in walking 15kms anytime I might feel like doing so. However, this is exactly what I did without thought for my physical condition and ability, (not smart in any way). When I should have been listening to the Spirit of God instructing me, I was more in tune with feelings, pride and completion of what seemed like all-important family works schedule. Basically, I was tricked by my own perception of what was physically and mentally important. There were serious negative consequences as I pushed against the physical and mental warnings being presented to me. In my weakened state, sickness "knocked me flat" for five days as it increased its deathlike embrace. Normally, this would not have occurred except that, through my own foolish decisions and actions, I had worked against the truth of God's spiritual healing Word. I then needed humility, forgiveness and a return to Truth in the Spirit if I was going to emerge in victory... spirit, soul and body.

Operating in Truth in the Spirit will thwart the enemy's attacks on our lives in this three-dimensional physical realm of Earth. But, in the first instance, we need to know who this enemy is. To properly know this, we need a "grace licence" to operate with authority and power in the Spirit realm of the Living God. This licence to operate on Earth in the Spirit is obtained through being born of the Spirit.

Jesus answered, [to Nicodemus, ruler of the Jews]

"Most assuredly, I say to you, unless one is born again, he cannot see the kingdom of God."

Nicodemus said to Him, "How can a man be born when he is old? Can he enter a second time into his mother's womb and be born?"

Jesus answered,

"Most assuredly, I say to you, unless one is born of water and the Spirit, he cannot enter the kingdom of God.

That which is born of the flesh is flesh, and that which is born of the Spirit is spirit. Do not marvel that I said to you, 'You must be born again.'

The wind blows where it wishes, and you hear the sound of it, but cannot tell where it comes from and where it goes. So is everyone who is born of the Spirit."

But God, who is rich in mercy, because of His great love with which He loved us, even when we were dead in trespasses, made us alive together with Christ (by grace you have been saved), and raised us up together, and made us sit together in the heavenly places in Christ Jesus, that in the ages to come He might show the exceeding riches of His grace in His kindness toward us in Christ Jesus.

For by grace you have been saved through faith [in Jesus Christ], and that not of yourselves; it is the gift of God, not of works, lest anyone should boast [in their own ability].

We are in eternal Covenant with Jesus Christ when we become one in the Spirit with Him. In this way we become the righteousness of God in Christ Jesus and beneficiaries of everything the Living God has stored up for us in Heaven. The authority of Jesus in Heaven and on Earth, becomes our authority also. Satan, (the devil) and demons or fallen angels are our enemy. They are spirit beings, which cannot be seen on Earth with sense realm vision, and they have no shape. However, they do, still have presence and will infect anyone they are able to, when given permission by such a person on Earth. This is what I did unintentionally when allowing my physical body to be weakened and open to sickness.

Satan has been defeated in the Spirit by the sacrifice of Jesus on the Cross of Salvation, but corruption still abounds on Earth through the legacy of sin. This is why sickness can thrive in all human bodies on Earth. They are all corrupted by sin, but souls are redeemable through the grace of God.

Each single cell in a human body is a complete and functioning life source, which can be corrupted. If corrupted cells are not treated correctly with a spiritual blood transfusion of New Life, they will dominate and eventually control the human body's overall condition, even to death. Our blood transfusion of New Life comes when we are born of the Spirit... when we become one in the Spirit with Jesus Christ. This is not a physical transformation, but a once only transformation in the Spirit... completely free and without any ill-effect.
